Our Trip to MOTAT

Room 12, 13 and 15 went to MOTAT. Our main focus for the day was making a Rube Goldberg machine, but we also took in all the other great exhibits at MOTAT. What a fun day we had using our DESIGN skills!

At the start of the year, Kerry had $12 in her piggy banks, and Romi had $4 in his. Kerry saved $2 each month, starting from January. Romi saved $3 each month, starting from January. In what month did they have the same amount of money in their piggy banks?

Balloon Car Design Challenge

Room 14 and Room 15 worked together to complete a balloon car design challenge. We had to build a balloon-powered car that would travel one and a half metres!
