Slime Fun

What a lot of fun we've had in Room 15 making slime for our writing experience. We've had to show resilience, a Growth Mindset and persistence to make the slime, as it took many tries to get it right! We finally perfected our recipe and wrote about the fun we had with slime. We had to use lots of interesting language, such as adjectives and similes to make our writing appealing for the reader. This is the recipe we used:
1 cup white PVA glue
1/2 cup shaving foam and foam handwash (together)
2 tablespoons of cornflour
a couple of drops of colouring
a few squirts of handcream (this makes it stretchy)
Now comes the fun part...
Mix 1 cup of boiling water with 1 teaspoon of borax in a bowl
Slowly add a couple of tablespoons of the water/borax mixture to the glue mixture. Stir and knead together. Keep adding tablespoons of the borax mixture until the slime is the right consistency and not too sticky.
Have fun playing with your slime!
